excuses.

here's a thought:

maybe we should stop create unnecessary excuses that can potentially harm us and hinder us from leading a more fabulous life for ourselves.

like when someone says, hey let's go out tonight? nah, i'll pass because i've got shitloads of work to do. when your friends leave to have fun, you're stuck with your shitloads of works which you end up not doing.

or,

hey why haven't you moved on? oh you know what, because i still have feelings towards my ex. WTF moron? get a life. your ex did. open your heart to new things. ah, you must think, what a hypocrite i am, and it IS not easy to move on but it is NOT impossible. yeah, yeah i'm still in the process but that's another story. hey, why can't you guys be friends? oh you know, i still hate my ex and i'm still bitter and though how much i convince or have convinced everyone that i have moved on but the fact that i still cling on the hatred and grudge i have towards my ex show the total opposite.

or,

hey, can someone accompany my not so healthy mum to send me back to the university? oh no i'm sorry, we're watching the Olympics badminton finals. once in every for years you know. you know what, FUCK YOU. my MUM has only ONE life and you want me to risk my mum's health and safety by sitting at home comfortably watching the badminton finals? well screw you.

or,

hey, i don't have enough money. life sucks. well here's a ringer, try saving up instead of spending money like you have shitloads of them in your bank account.

or,

i'm too afraid to do this and that for fear of... well here's a fact. you live only once. why don't you just take a bloody chance and think about regrets later? i think it's better to regret doing something than actually not doing anything.

we create excuses for all sorts of things when it is actually, very possible that we can do most of the things that we're supposed to do if we don't create those excuses in the first place. newsflash, excuses and reasons aren't the same. there's a thin line between excuses and reasons but basically, reasons are valid, excuses are just things you create to escape something and to make you feel better about yourself when in fact, they should make you feel the complete opposite. i do this too, create excuses for things and creating excuses can indeed jeopardize me to have a better life for myself. i hate it when i have realized that i created excuses that hinder me from doing things that can make me have a more fabulous life. i hate it.

p.s: you and your excuses.
