can you feel when,
the wind blows soft kisses on your cheeks
it messes your hair
sunlight warms your heart
rain washing away your tears
the earth supporting your weight
the trees giving you their breath for you to breathe
the sound of waves sound like music
and the sand feel soft beneath your feet
how the canyons and mountains make you feel so tall
and how they can make you feel so small?
can you see
the beauty around you
how the stars are so lovely against blackness
of the night
and the moon looks so lovely in its own lonely delight
how the comets move in swift silence
and the meteors follow slowly behind
the colors of cosmos like painting
and they remind you of flowers
blooming during spring and summer
the coolness of snow, white like cotton
the orange of autumn littering leaves on paved roads
the smell of dew in the morning
the rush of fountains of water falling from great heights
into a river?
can you, see and feel
all these things around you?
take a step back and see
the beauty God has presented for all
not to be taken for granted,
like we always never fail to do.
