the wall.

what are you doing boy, to the wall?

i'm trying to break it, sir.

but that's a very thick wall you see. can you really break it?

i don't know sir but i'm sure as hell going to try my best. you see sir, this wall used to be so smooth and tough. then a few days ago, i saw cracks forming and i thought, why don't i just try breaking it apart.

why would you want to do such a thing, boy?

because sir, in between those cracks, on the other side sir, i see a very beautiful place. grass is greener on the other side, they say sir. so i want to get to the other side.

only because the grass is greener boy?

and sir, because my heart says there is something i should find there. something that would make me happy sir, so my heart says, sir.

i see. good luck in breaking the wall apart boy.

thank you sir, thank you.

*the boy takes chisel and hammer, and hammers away while the old man walks away and glances occasionally at the boy and he shakes his head*

p.s: wonderwall.

  1. he can just mix some cement to put the cracks together but instead he continues doing what he thinks he should do, just break it apart.
