Tired from work, I hurry myself to bed,
A rest for the limbs which were exhausted by
travel;
But then, a journey in my head starts,
To work my mind, where my body’s work is over;
Far from my where I am, my thoughts
Begins a journey to you,
Keeping me awake, staring into the darkness
that even the blind can see
My soul begins to form imaginary pictures
Of you into my ‘sight’
Like jewel, they hung in the abysmal night,
Making the night beautiful, and a familiar
face new.
Hence, my limbs by day, and mind by night,
Have no rest, for you and me.
p.s: you're the dream that keeps me awake.
